$2K Reward Offered For Stolen Jewelry In Ramapo

RAMAPO, N.Y. – A Ramapo husband whose wife’s wedding jewelry was recently stolen is offering a $2,000 reward for its return, according to lohud.com.

Ramapo Police are investigating the theft of jewelry valued at $11,500 from a Chestnut Ridge home. The owners of the jewelry are offering a $2,000 reward for its safe return.

Arya Rabinovits said his wife was distraught over the lost items, which include gold necklaces, a bracelet, a ring, and a pair of diamond earrings with a combined estimated value of about $11,500, according to lohud.com.

The jewelry was apparently taken during a Nov. 13 burglary at the couple’s Chestnut Ridge home, according to lohud.com, which reported that Ramapo police investigators have been monitoring local pawn shops in an effort to recover the items.

According to Ramapo police, the next step is to check in with New York City police and departments in New Jersey to see if the jewelry surfaces there, according to lohud.com.
